The following night Lucas Walken was sitting out the back of the Xtreme Squad house with Jasper on chairs looking at the somewhat cleaner river they lived next to. Jasper was blowing smoke rings out of a cigar that he found.
“These Umezu cigars are great,” he commented.
“They’re a brand he buys. I’m surprised that we’ll on a search party to find him but finding the tower of angels is the real deal for us. For the past year and more we’ll be busy with the City of Demons and this might be a break for us all. I spoke to Alan Richards earlier today. He didn’t have much to say expect Mr Umezu was trekking out in the area where he was lost,” Lucas replied wandering around the beach backyard.
Kuzuki was in beach wear and towel when she came outside holing some papers for Lucas and handed them to him, “The Angels were hard to find info on Lucas. Even the Librarian was struggling to come up for information and he knows everyone and everything in history. All he said was they weren’t fans of vampires and demons and kept to themselves.”
Lucas nodded reading the papers while Kuzuki sat on Jasper’s lap and grabbed his cigar, “I got her trained,” Jasper replied rubbing her leg looking out on the water.
“Yuri was working on the pathway there. Any issues I should know of?”
“She didn’t find anything to be a problem of. It’s pretty much a walk up and there it is,” Kuzuki commented.
“My plan is to bring you two and Yuri you will stay here to keep a watch of things. I think Charles might want you three on something he was talking to me about. Tomorrow you can go and find that one out. You better get there on time or Mamoru will kick your ass Jasper,” Lucas reminded him.
“Alright man, you go off and practise your magic stuff. That’s why you’re tagging with the old vampire and wizard aren’t ya. I’ll never understand magic myself, Jasper replied while Lucas walked back inside.
Kuzuki puffed on the cigar and massaged herself on Jasper’s lap, “Tower of Angels, kinda wish I was going but the boss said we gotta stay here and work on something that Charles wants us to do. We can find our own entertainment,” Jasper smiled wiggling down his shorts and Kuzuki throwing off her towel. She lowered herself onto Jasper as he wrapped his hand around her blonde hair pulling it. Jasper pulled her chair hard as she rode him slowly.
“Yeah, we’ll go tomorrow to see him,” Jasper thought out loud.
Kuzuki sighed as Jasper lifted her up from the seat and continue to thrust her until he was finished. He gently put her down on the seat and dragged on the cigar. Jasper looked around the waters and noticed some of the city lights were turned off, “Looks dark tonight, why are some of the building lights are turned off for,” he wondered.
Kuzuki got back up and Jasper hit her backside, “Get indoors, too cold for you. We’ll got work tomorrow you know!” As she playfully went inside Jasper gave a last look at the lights and wondered what was going on.
The early morning arrived and Lucas was with Allegheri and Frithdar had arrived at the edge of the north of the City of Demons together to search for the tower of angels. Beyond the city was a mix of dry land and bushes that had been kept alone for decades but some believed it would be used to expand the city if they needed the land.
“The tower should be just over there. But I don’t see anything,” Lucas commented on the issue.
“This is not what I hoping to find out. This was the correct location that Charles gave us. We should cover this area and see what we can find,” Allegheri replied.
The three of them adventured off into the unknown area beyond the city as Lucas and Frithdar searched the short buses and trees for the tower of angels. After some time Lucas pointed out a shadow in the distance, “Come look at this this must be the tower!”
Frithdar paced himself jogging after him and with Allegheri after him too. The pair arrived to where Lucas was and Frithdar saw the modest sized tower of angels sitting in its way.
“Well it’s something made by the angels, their way of creating building was always different and beautiful. Nothing that I’ve seen in other lands of this world,” Frithdar noted smiling at its beauty.
“Allegheri what do you think of it?” Lucas asked him when he arrived to the spot.
“I’m afraid I can’t the tower of angels at all but I know that you two can,” Allegheri replied.
Frithdar and Lucas both turned back at Allegheri in amazement that he couldn’t see what they saw, “You can’t see a large tower right in front of us. What form of magic is this?” Lucas asked himself. No one quite knew at that point.
